Floatel Triumph

Floatel Triumph is a semi-submersible accommodation and construction support vessel (floatel) designed for worldwide operation (except Norway) with emphasis on some of the harshest environmental conditions in the world, such as the Northern North Sea.

The vessel is designed to meet a majority of the world's most demanding regulatory requirements for offshore operations and is equipped with the latest Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning System for station keeping, certified to DP3 class. Floatel Triumph accommodates 560 people in one and two bed cabins and has large recreational areas, including mess room and various types of day rooms, gymnasium and cinema. The vessel has a telescopic gangway for client personnel to transfer between the floatel and the host installation. A helideck, two deck cranes, a large lay-down area as well as workshops and warehouses support the client’s logistics, construction and storage activities.

Cabins

 

Air-conditioned living quarters for 560 people in 42 single bed cabins and 259 two-men cabins. Each cabin fully outfitted with en-suite bathroom, telephone and IPTV with video on demand.

Mess Rooms and Recreational Facilities

 

Galley and mess room facilities for 250 people per sitting. Recreational areas include a shop, cinema, recreation rooms, games room, music room and gymnasium. Dirty coffee shop for client adjacent to gangway staircase.

35-40 workstations on the Main Deck level, arranged in open plan area.

Hospital

 

A fully equipped hospital is located on the Upper deck level with easy access to helideck. The hospital consists of three parts; a medical office, a clinic with examination and treatment facilities as well as a ward with five bed capacity.

Lifesaving

10 * 100 pax davit launched enclosed lifeboats.

Life rafts

Inflatable life rafts for all POB as per applicable regulations.

MOB boat

Davit launched self-righting boat, type Norsafe Mako 655.

Gangway

 

Hydraulic Gangway, length 38.0 m with a telescopic action of +/- 7.5 m allowing the vessel to remain connected in severe weather.

Utilities over gangway

Utility piping available for transfer of compressed air, sea water, diesel, fresh water, and IT to the Client installation via the gangway.

Construction Support

 

Two electro–hydraulic deck cranes, located port side forward and starboard side midships, with the following onboard lifting capacities:

Port Crane Main Hoist

120 MT lifting capacity at 20 m radius. 45 MT lifting capacity at 46 m radius.

Starboard Crane Main Hoist:

64 MT lifting capacity at 14 m radius. 21 MT lifting capacity at 46 m radius.

Auxiliary Hoist (both Cranes):

15 MT lifting capacity at 51 m radius.

 

A workshop for mechanical work (61 m²) and a warehouse with shelving (100 m²) are arranged on the Upper Deck level, available for Client use.

Station Keeping

 

The positioning system is built and approved according to ABS class notation DPS-3 and mooring notation TAM-PL.
